Accreditation
We are certified for counterbalance driver training courses by RTITB, the accrediting body for forklifts and other material handling machinery in the United Kingdom.
RTITB has 40+ years of experience with establishing specific training standards, monitoring instructors and courses, and accreditation. The legal training requirements set by the Health and Safety at Work Etc Act 1974 support RTITB standards. This act makes it a legal requirement to provide adequate instruction and training to all employees.
The RTITB accreditation also follows the Approved Code of Practice for Rider-operated lift trucks: Operator training (ACOP L117), which every driver is required to comply with.
All of our RTITB-registered instructors work at the high standards set by the accreditation body, hence you can rest assured that you receive the most up to fate counterbalance fork truck training. We are monitored annually to ensure we continue to comply with standard requirements
Our Counterbalance Forklift Training Courses
The counterbalance is named aptly due to the counterweight in the rear of the forklift. It compensates for the heavy load lifted by the front of the vehicle. Counterbalance forklift training is popular, as these machines are versatile and often used both outdoors and indoors. They require more space than other forklifts due to their wide turning circle.
This forklift either uses three or four wheels and is powered by gas, electric, or diesel. They are quite powerful and can lift heavy loads up to 5000 kg.
There are a few considerations when training on and operating a counterbalance lift truck for your projects in UK areas like Leicester, Northampton, Birmingham, Nottingham, Warwick, Derby, West Midlands, and East Midlands. It is not as easy to manoeuver, especially when moving heavier loads, because it requires a wider turn radius.
Proper training is crucial before operating the counterbalance forklift to move heavy loads.

We offer full RTITB-accredited off-site counterbalance forklift driver training courses in UK areas like Leicester, Northampton, Birmingham, Nottingham, Warwick, Derby, West Midlands, and East Midlands.
